What exactly are we?

This morning, in the kitchen of our castle, I meet a cosy family. In transit to the south, we could have them as guests for 1 night. After all, our château is only 3 km from Route du Soleil, making it the perfect stopover to and from the south.

Their dog is wagging his tail with joy, having already had a lovely walk in the beautiful countryside around our château, according to his owner. 

She beams with delight and tells me she is trying to find a word for what we do here. She says: ‘It is not a hotel. The concept is a bit like a hostel, but that certainly doesn't reflect what you can expect here. Neither does a bed and breakfast.’ In fact, here you make your own breakfast. The bakery opposite the castle has a buffet of up to 7 metres full of delicacies. 

She thinks some more: ‘a living room - boutique - hotel - hostel - guest house’.

But that is too long. She decides, ‘I'll just stick to a “very unique experience”’.

That is exactly what we want to be: A unique experience. Where Pascal's architecture stimulates all your senses and where my hospitality embraces you. This summer, we still have a few rooms available. You are most welcome!
